先日、Zoom対抗のGoogle Meetが5月上旬から誰もが無料で利用可能にでお伝えしたように、Google Meetが誰もが無料で利用できるようになると発表しました。
Googleには、AndroidやiOSのスマートフォン、タブレット、PC、スマートディスプレでビデオ通話ができるGoogle Duoというサービスもあります。
こちらでも先日、通信の暗号化や高品質化、グループ通話での12人対応などを発表しましたが、新たにWeb版でのグループ通話が発表されました。

2020年4月21日には、セキュリティの向上とビデオ通話の品質向上、キャプチャと共有機能、グループ通話可能な人数の増加、ビデオメッセージ及び留守録機能についてアナウンスがありました。
